Man, that sux! By now your real used to it and you gotta go with out for a while. Hopefully they get you one quick. I was thinking about picking up another just incase something like this happens, then I wouldn't have to miss it.
Back from a blues gig and this is the second time I used the PF350 through this 410HE, but I really had the thing dialed in. For this venue (nightclub with about 100 person capacity) I had gain a little over 1/2 and master at about 1/2, messed with the EQ and had tone with volume to spare. If I got any decent recordings, I'll post them.
This is my slab gig. Tomorrow night I'll be dancing with the fat lady in my rockabilly gig, and I think I'll risk it and leave the SVT at home and use the PF350. I really want to see how the big bass sounds through that set up.
I *really* need to get the 115 cab. That'll make my blues gig nice and lightweight.

Actually the PF was supposed to just be a backup head, but after awhile I just started using it alone. Next gig is with the oldies group so I'll be using the B-100R anyway

Anyone else just leaving the tweeters off? I think these 15's sound great without them. On halfway it's piercing, I couldn't see any use for the that tweeter to be full on.

I have been leaving it off. But next time I use it, I'm going to try it on at -6db. I don't hear it as piercing. I hear full-on as piercing, but it's such a good sounding tweeter that I'm finding it hard to complain.
I only use it on the top cab if I use the -6 at all.

Im super happy with the rig, but i have a little concern... When i plug something (pc, drummachine) into the audio in, it only plays through the headphones output, not through the cab. Is that regular, or should i send the head back? thanx

I've got mine on -6 as well. Full on is too much but to me it sounds better with a little tweeter.

You can run it into the effects loop return, then set the balance between your bass and the drum machine via the blend knob on the front of the amp if you want to hear it through your cab.
I wouldn't say "piercing," but on full they do seem a bit zingy. I have the tweeters on my PF115s set to -6db, but I also have the treble on my PF500 at about 11:00. That leaves me a good amount of high end, but I can still dial out some top at my bass.

I'm thinking about adding a different speaker cab to my PF-500 amp instead of taking the Portaflex 1-15 cab (possibly for bigger gigs) Would you suggest getting a B115e cab or SVT-15e cab? This is separate cab, not stacked with Portaflex cab. And Im only interested in these two with 15's so not interested in 4-10's etc. Which of the two cabs would be better with new PF-500 amp ?
I don't know...I don't hear a whole lot of difference between the two, but they're not exactly the same...the SVT 115e is a little better sounding, but there's not a big chasm of tonal quality IMHO.
