I am not sure why the RB210’s tweeter is such an issue. The manual shows an on/off switch for the tweeter.

It's an issue to me because I am paying for $650 for something that has a defect. I don't even use tweeters, but the fact they they ship out a product that clearly has an issue is a huge red flag to me. It makes me wonder what else they cut corners on.

My first post was on mobile. I was too brief probably. I have been looking at the RB210. I have read many reviews that do not mention anything about the tweeter buzzing. So, is this a circumstantial situation where the tweeter is making noise with individual basses/home wiring/etc.? Or is it a defect of some peoples units? Or is it that this noise that comes with the flipside of some added benefit? For example, the Campfire Audio Andromeda is beloved by audiophiles despite being an IEM that "hisses" with different amps. Is the RB210 like the Andromeda?

I am going to stay with my RB110 and not purchase the RB210. The RB110's tone and size are perfect. That said, I would like more power and ultra high/ultra low on occasion. Some may say look at the RB 112. There is something about the RB112's tone that does not sit well with me. Maybe it is a Jazz bass and RB112 pairing? Or Ampeg's l------o------n-----g history of excelling with 10 inch drivers that is just sits "right" for me?

Now, if Ampeg were to make an RB110 "pro version" with the ultra high/low and more power, then that would be an instant preorder purchase for me.

I'm in the same boat. So many groups I like use the Ampeg 10" sound, so it was hard to walk away from doing 10s.

That being said, I'm obsessed with having my 210 atop my 115 now. Really rips
