Ampeg Rocket Bass Combos

It would be very possible for these delivery times to stretch, as containerized shipping is utterly jammed and running past capacity right now.

“Not like” like

Sometimes I get suspicious of that jam in the Nile. Now prices are shooting up again. Coincidence?

Like a boxer “takin’ a Fall” lol

Last I heard, the ship (and unfortunately the crew) are in the custody of the Egyptian authorities who operate the canal, and are demanding 800,000,000 USD in fines and restitution to release the ship and resolve the damages. I really don't think anyone would let themselves in for that. Also, this would not affect container shipping in ocean routes, Panamax operations, other locations in the world.

Still waiting for the first 112 review...

my local GC has them in stock now, so I drove down today to check it out. It would make an amazing practice amp (especially for a noob). IMHO it suffers from the same problems as it’s rival Fender Rumble. Sounds sweet at low volume quickly looses definition, in particularly the low end of the sound spectrum.
They look and feel decent, I mean really for the price range I don’t think you could beat it.

I would expect to make EQ adjustments once the volume knob goes past half, but I like a more mid-forward sound anyway.

Nice to hear these are hitting the sales floor.

I'm getting worried about my RB-210 order.... I ordered it direct from Amazon back in April, and at the time it had no ship date listed. Then they emailed me saying it should arrive by May 4 - June 7... I checked the page on Amazon.com and now the only listed seller is a company called AVL Gear, so I'm wondering why Amazon isn't listed anymore... I'm guessing they sold out all their potential inventory... Who else is waiting on the 210 and what is your current experience like?

That’s...a bummer! Hopefully Amazon comes through for you-

I went Sweetwater for my RB 115. It’s my first “big ticket” purchase from them- but I like the reviews, and my “Sales Engineer” seems knowledgeable and responsive.

I had always gone with Musicians Friend- 8% “loyalty bucks” etc, but lately just got a “Spidey Sense tingling” feeling to go elsewhere- Sweetwater will match any offer- and MF has some restrictions on WHAT the loyalty bucks qualify on/for. Anyone else have any info on this??
Still expecting the 115 in a couple of weeks. :bassist::hyper::bassist:

Honestly at this point I got bored of waiting and will just eye either an RB-112 or 115 come the holidays.
I’m regularly checking my 2 local GCs to see if they have at least the 112 on the sales floor though.

Tele, I dropped MF from my sales roster over a year ago when they came out with something (I've already forgotten what), recommended the pre-order, extended it over and over, and then pretended like they had no idea I wanted the item. A divorce ensued.

I still shop GC for some strange reason (oh yeah, I'm digging Markbass again), but my current go-to is zZounds. Never had a problem and if they're back-ordered they keep you up to date and make it easy to revise the order. Also, I really like their no-interest payment plan anywhere from 4 up to 12 monthly payments. They're not as big as MF, but much easier to work with.
