i've only blasted it through a single 115 at 8 ohms, but it gets plenty loud for my needs. i used it on a gig tonight through my 73 810 as well, and it also ruled.

Well, a friend of mine borrowed mine to play through his Peavey BW 4 ohm 1x15 and it sounded good enough that he traded me his '67 Bassman for itJust curious if anyone has tried using the Micro VR with a 4 ohm single 12" or 15" cabinet?
.I ordered my ampeg micro vr / 210 cab from Sweetwater last week. I bought it to keep at home for a practice amp. So far I love it... It sounds good, looks good, and doesnt take up much space.
then i can understand why you did it.BTW I just scored a Peavey 400w matching transformer for cheap so I can convert a single SVT210AV to 4 ohms. The cabs are rated at 200W and the Micro-VR can produce quite a bit more than that when overdriven a bit (300+) so probably not such a good idea.

Every time I look at this stack, I always feel like I need to buy a beginner guitar (scale ~20") and mod it to make it an appropriately-sized bass.
