...i dont have alot of chord theory so callin out chords and expecting to me know them wolnt really work but i can pick up tabs fast and play by ear.

Exactly how does this equate to:

i knew a guy in high school that planned to learn the sax,but entirely on his own,with no influences from records,music lessons,charts or any other conventional avenues.....he was serious,but i don't recall seeing him play anywhere
