Anone actually satisfied with their rig?

Love my GK Fusion 550 (rack mounted with a Petersen Stroborack) and 4 Ohm Neo 410. Perfect for the gigs I do.
Plenty of basses to choose from- mainly gig a 73 P Bass or a 69 Tele with an Asat as a backup- sometimes use the Asat for a whole gig.
So very happy.

Running joke in my band is "this is the last pice of equipment we'll ever need" ;) ... Since we are always gassing for something slightly different, the rule for shows is "no new equipment". If it has not had at least two rehearsals, it does not get up on stage!

I was once in a band where the running joke was "That's nice, can we borrow that". :)

My rig is a bit of a compromise because it has to do double duty on bass guitar and upright, and also be super portable because I'm lugging a bass guitar and an upright!

So I've ended up with a GB Shuttle 6.0 and a Schroeder 1212L, and it all works very well. To amplify the DB I've got a choice of a Bassmax into a Fishman Plat Pro, or (preferred) an Ehrlund EAP into Ehrlund pre, but I tend to send both signals to the desk and let them decide what they want, and have the Ehrlund soloed in my monitor. On bass guitar I have a pedalboard in the way with various filters, octavers, pitch shifters, sample rate reducers etc. but it all goes into the same amp and I'm always happy with the sounds that come out the other end.

So yeah I feel like I'm done buying amps and cabs certainly. Never done with effects. And while I'm good with the basses I've got I'm always sure there'll always be a greener double bass on some other side of the fence.

My amp/speaker setup has not changed since 2008, so yeah I guess you could say if it's not broke ... I've been using Mark Bass LM IIs for every gig coupled with Euphonic Audio VL208s stacked, Mojo Mini 1x10s stacked, or a single EA VL110 depending on how much volume I need. My basses vary from classic Fender vintage P-bass and J-bass to modern classics like my very modded EBMM Sterling (pictured), so no bass GAS. The pedalboard has stayed the same for about the same number of years as the amp rig. Yeah total satisfaction all around, it's nice to be able to just concentrate on playing rather than gear.

I'm almost there...got a pretty rare Ibanez Prestige on the way, and I should be set!

Peavey G-V (will be for backup and extreme-weather shows)
GK 1001RB-II
Markbass Traveler 102p

That's it, and it sounds HUGE. You can see all of my other pieces, along with backup "rigs", on my gear page.

Absolutley, 100% satisfied with my current set-up. It doesn't mean that I don't have GAS, just that I'm happy with what I've got.

Same here. Finally had a chance to gig my rig and I am supremely satisfied. I actually have zero amp GAS, and the only cab I'd like to get my hands on is a TC112 for smaller gigs for which the TC212 is absolute overkill.

Yep, pretty happy with my rig -
Regenerate M5 fretted
Lakland 55-94 Fretted
Warmoth 5 fretless

"Big" amp rig -
Accugroove Tri-115
Genz Benz Streamliner 900 or Glockenklang Heartcore

Small amp rig -
EA 1x10 cab
Streamliner 900 (why would I use the Glockenklang when it weighs twice what the cab does!)

Took me 13 years and may change if I win the lottery!

Dan K.

And now I have to say "which rig?" In addition to the stuff listed, I got a Fender Bassman 100T with a 4x10 new cab.

GAS is a terrible thing - and I'm high bidder on another 5 string right now.

I still get GAS (currently for a Kemper Amp Profiler), but then I play my rig and it goes away. I think I might be there (don't want to speak too soon). I honestly think my rig is done (crosses fingers).

Various 4's and 5's - fretted and fretless - going into;
Digitech RP 1000 effects
Korg DTR-1 rack tuner
Music Man HD 500w Audiophile head
Music Man 2x10 Audiophile cab

Simple, but effective.

Now, I have to sell all the stuff I bought, that I don't need...

Yup!!!

Gibson thunderbird
2x RICK 4003
Fender american deluxe jazz 2011
Stingray 5

EHX micro synth
MXR M80
Blackout effects twosome fuzz
(Haven't had much use for these yet)

Ampeg SVT-VR
Bergantino NV610
Bergantino NV610-T

I'm pretty set with my current line up. The only thing I could possibly add is an aguilar DB751 for the 610-T. But that can only happen right now if the price is uber sweet!! (Read silly cheap)
