Agreed, the new finish looks great. I've got two solid-color Fernandes basses, would prefer they had 'natural' finishes.

And are the 2 circular routs CNC marks, or?

is it the picture, or am I seeing some ripples in the finish by the bridge area?
Looking great, John! What's 'CNC'? I'm not familiar with that.it's a late 70's bass (it came stock with active pickups and all brass hardware). the circular routes were probably used for CNC'ing but the bridge one also works for threading the bridge's ground wire .
