we're talking about marijuana here not heroin. 2 VERY different drugs.
I know. I was making even more of an extreme statement with the heroin.

Who would want to be a stay at home wife?
Cook, clean, raise the kids & service your husband as required.
who made up that role?
I bet it was not a women.
It almost sounds to me as if the guy needed an excuse to dump her and used the first one he could find.
Sounds like you hate people who smoke weed. That's a shame.
Yes, the ex-wife is bad for taking everything from him, but that's partly the husband's fault for having a GIGANTIC knee-jerk reaction to the reefer. Sounds like if he chilled the hell out, he wouldn't be suffering so much. So your neighbor is an idiot and you can tell him I say so.
Plus from my understanding she never lied to him about it, just about quitting it. As anyone who has ever had to quit cigarettes can tell you, the first time you try to quit is not always successful.
I'm not trying to bring down all the tokers here. I don't personally have a problem with those who smoke pot. It's the stoners who waste away being constantly high that I have a sour opinion.
My neighbor did not want weed in his home. She got caught, promised to reform, refused and went behind his back hiding things in the basement. There's no excuse or explanation that can remedy such a lie.
Oh by the way... his first wife was the town drunk. She was at EVERY bar, and known at every one. and when she got drunk, she'd turn into a screaming shouting confrontational monster that my whole block could hear, cuz the bitch would make sure windows were open in the home so sound could travel. Real prize winner there.

Some of you folks seem to be forgetting that one must ask to be forgiven. It's not an automatic one-way transaction.

I say, he didn't want illegal substances and illegal actions performed in his home, to which he'd be responsible. I'd say, you're a waste of oxygen, and the bottom rung of the social ladder. You can go tell your mommy I say so.
Which carries absolutely no meaning other than a self-serving ego massage. Worse than that it implies that the wrongdoer has done nothing wrong. I speak specifically of this woman who has twice now, screwed with the OP's neighbor.
Naturally any person would just say "don't worry bout it" without waiting for the person to ask.You think you're going to have sympathy for him when wife #3 turns out to be addicted to cocaine?
