I did read the whole thread.

I replied to that post because I felt that it was meaningful. The dude is attracted to the kind of woman who is prone to have substance abuse problems.

Just like my mom is attracted to well-educated, alcoholic war veterans. My dad has 2 masters degrees, served in Vietnam in the army, and drank like an Irishman at Hedonism. My step dad has a PhD, served in Vietnam in the Marines, and can take down a bottle of single malt scotch in a matter of minutes. Or my wife's best friend, a woman who is only attracted to men who are psychologically abusive, men who want to control every aspect of her life by telling her what she can wear, who she can talk to and where she can go.

Just because he says "no more women" now, when he's angry and going through a divorce doesn't mean its something he's going to stick to. And if/when he does get into another serious relationship/gets married chances are its going to be the same kind of woman as his previous two wives, that is someone who has some sort of substance abuse problem. I can't tell you why that is, but theres something in that type of woman that he's attracted to.

And yes, it did creep me out that I was staring at a teenager's ass.

Same way it creeps me out when I watch any modern movie with hot teenagers in it and stare at their asses.




The day staring at a hot ass becomes creepy, is the day I turn in my Man Card!


EDIT: I love high school girls. The older I get, they stay the same age!

My brother went over there Friday to help him out with his computer. Turns out, the bitch and the kids EMPTIED his house. All his cool **** is gone. His computer problem is he can't get onto the internet. Why? Cuz the bastard children took the power supply for his cable modem!

Apparently, this druggie bitch is getting all kinds of stuff from the divorce proceedings. It seems that judges don't care about punishing a dope head bitch and her bad influences on her kids, and feels that she should walk away from this rich as hell, and leave the innocent guy screwed. She got the BMW and the computers he bought for the kids, and a HUGE settlement.

He told my brother, "You know how it's three strikes and you're out? Forget it. TWO strikes. I'll never get married again."


It's truly amazing what some people can get away with in this world today. She's a liar and a druggie and a crap parent, but she gets to rip him off like a burglar. Good going, American Judicial System.

Hey man, good decision. I'm not getting married either and I make it clear to any girl I have a serious relationship with that that is my stance on it.

Yes I do. But I'll have you review the L and F part. If that wasn't there then she would be a GMIDNW2F, the IDNW2 would stand for I Do NOT Want To. But since she is a GMILF then it's all cool. So in short I stick to my first response which would be "DAYUM!!!!".

You got hosed because aggressive greed and dishonesty trump integrity and generosity. But I'm guessing you have a lot more friends than he does. ;)




Maybe I'm the only person here who didn't get screwed by the ex in a divorce, but she voluntarily left to go take up with another guy (now her husband) and she admitted fault in leaving the marriage so I had to pay her nothing. She took a bunch of stuff with her that she felt entitled to take, and I didn't argue about the few things I disagreed with because she was being pretty reasonable on the whole. Our 14 year old daughter lives with me because she doesn't get along with her mom when they're together for any length of time but they do get along fine when she goes to visit most weekends, and I'm pretty satisfied with that arrangement.

The one odd thing is that our daughter disapproves of how well I get along with her mother now (and the new husband, too) because she thinks that it would be more appropriate for me to hate her for leaving. She asked me how I can forgive her and I told her that forgiveness is over-rated; I just understand that that's the way she is and it's pointless to waste good brain cells trying to decide whether to stay angry at her or forgive her so I choose to not do either.

not so much creepy to do it discreetly.. its when you talk about it that it becomes creepy. unless your with close friends.
