Looking at the example in the THAT4301 datasheet, there is a cap between VEE and GND (here it's C8, 100nF).

In tracing my circuit, I see + beep a 22uF between VCC and GND, but so far cannot find any caps between -9V and GND.

Should there be one, or is there not one at all?

There should be a 22uF cap on pin11 and GND, also a 100uF on pin10 and GND.

Nice. Hows it sound for bass? Mine in in the works - I have about 60% of the board populated.

I'll have to try it soon, I've only ran a music thru it since I don't have my bass and amp with me.

That was why I was so pissed at myself for trying to 'fix' it, AFTER I knew I couldn't get another kit.

I will say, I learned a TON about tracing circuits, reading datasheets, and general troubleshooting, so while I won't say I'm glad I broke it, I'm glad I learned something.

Don't have a nice backdrop for pictures, but here is my combo GUMA Antique and Drive that will be replacing my Hot Wax. I love that both effects have a wider usable range for me over the Hot Wax (which I still loved, but didn't use a ton).

Switch in the middle changes which effect is first in the chain.

Original Davies clone knobs slightly covered up the text, I guess I bumped the text up at some point, but I switched to these 16mm dia knobs, which have the added benefit of all my pedals have different knobs now too.

Shoutout to Spencer at AmplifyFun for his awesome work with my enclosure print. Tweaked the original from Schalltechnik and wanted it to nod to both of the 'original' effects.
