I've finally got to use it in the rehearsal tonight, it's really good, doesn't color the bass except that there's pumping going on, so I've set a fast release and it's excellent.

It is a heatsink for the voltage regulator. According to the data sheet, there is no need to use one. But I do.

YADA! Yet Another Dunwich Apostle.
I got the PCB on Osh Park, so this is my third time building one of those (order minium). They are all a bit different though, the first one is without the FAC control (and smaller), the second one went together with a Cisneros Tone Generator into a double pedal that destrys worlds and this one is in a bigger than necessary enclosure, which is very Dunwich like, isn't it?
Anyway, I love the sounds, it can go from (dirty) boost to heavy OD.

Finished half of a DeadEndFX Lovetone set. It started with wanting to build a MeatBall clone, then a Ring Stinger clone, and then became a challenge to build all of them.
Meaty Balls envelope filter. Best filter in my collection. Everybody should have one.
Vital Spark phaser, similar to Doppleganger.
String Ringer Ring mod. This build was a good challenge and worth the effort. Surprisingly easy to dial in and full of versatile sounds.
On my bench now are the other half of DeadEndFX's Lovetone pedals: MotherBrain fuzz, TurboTrem tremolo and E.Nigma flanger.

Impressive!!! Doing all the DEFX Lovetones really is a challenge.
Here's another one of mine, which also was a challenge, at least for me, it's a Skidmark PCB, called Deluxe Sonomatic, but I adapted the graphics that came with the PCB a bit and just called it
SONOMAT
It sports 4 PT2399 chips and tries to get that Binson Echorec vibe. Of course I never played a real Binson, so all I can say is, that this thing sounds lovely and warbly as promised.
Just awesome! Where do I get the PCB? I need this.
Acoustic 360 Preamp
First I tried the viva-analog Version, but I dont like it. The assembly instructions are not easy to understand and also contain errors. The potentiometer layout is terrible and looks amateurish.
So I used the Factory schematics and designed my own PCB layout. I kept the blend function.

Been having a string of bad luck, where pedals i make sound like sh*t on the bass but decent when i pass them to my guitarist.
first time doing a nail polish finish. impossible to make a smooth finish but quite fun, to not be so hung up on aesthetics.

Yep. The three guitar players i play with have definitely benefitted from my DIY adventures that don't quite pass the smell test on bass.
Having already built the Bassman 100 preamp, the 135 is quickly made. They differ only slightly.
I just finished this Pedal PBC Equilux. Tayda box, drilled by them. I think I’m going to wait for the faceplate from Pedal PCB. Knobs are just what I had around, kinda cool, old console looking, idk. Blue led.

yea, my guitarist is worrying that she might have too many pedals soon. imagine that.
i'm thinking of making a stacked EHX mole next with toggles for both low pass caps and option to run thru single or double stage.
this is what i'm thinking of right now.
name is a spoof of "the boys", gonna name the 2 switches deeper & deeper
