I imagine that was a metal case. How do you get the black on? That's not painted is it? Not a decal either?

Two more Madbean 1590A's. Rabbithole built to GGG/Bluebeard spec and Flunkee envelope filter. Built both using ceramic capacitors.
How do you like the Flunkee? I have a board for it that I got when they were giving them away that I haven't put together yet.
Its been my favorite DIY envelope filter. This is my second Flunkee build. They are easier to build than other filters and also easier to dial in.

Sponge painted green and silver glitter layers over top of high gloss black base coat. Then finished with spraycan clear coat.

Boxed up another Deadeand build: the Wurmloch.
It's the DBA Flaming Lips Space Ring, basically a ring mod into a ring mod, but with a few extras: clean circuit, blend and what I labelled "Spice" instead of "Wormhole" (potentiometer and footswitch), which is added crosstalk between the 2 ring modulators - or as they put it: "The Wormhole option takes into insanity mode, while the clean blend plays referee in this audio cage match".
It's tons of fun, if you're into ring mods - and probably also, if you're not.

For those that do color coded wiring, is there any method to your madness or just what looks cool and might help you follow a line (ie. not all the same color).
There is nothing set in stone. I have favorite colors that I use for certain things on my builds ,like blue for output , green for input. You could have all the wires the same color if you like. It’s all personal preference.
I do red for power, black for ground, yellow for pots/offboard controls, white for switches (and other miscellaneous), blue for signal routing.
I finished these up last week: a PedalPCB HAARP apregiator and the Underminer Sub-Octave Synth.
Made these to play around on the synthesizer. If anyone is wondering they don't play well with bass at all!
And nevermind that missing shrinkwrap... I'll fix that one of these days.
