Phew, 89 resistors, 35 caps, 18 diodes, 13 ICs and 8 transistors later .... we have signal! Probably the most complex build I've done so far.

So, what ist it? The PCB is called "Downtown, from Lectric FX, a replica of the EH-5950 Deluxe Octave Multiplexer.

It's basically "just" a Fuzz & Octaver, but it features a built in compressor and some sort of super fancy special filter that creates a sine wave to provide exceptionally good tracking.
The SUB knob pans from 1 oct down (ccw) to both at noon, to 2 oct down (cw).
SENS sets the trigger level for the tracking circuitery.

i had an EAE model fet and i think that i liked a slightly better than the CODA version, but the coda is no slouch. i designed my own version a few years ago using factory Sunn schematic and i actually like it better than both of them:

any plans to make more of these? I've been looking for a good model T pedal.

Yeah I build things that I'll never be able to sell. But get so much satisfaction from the process.
Here are a few I built lately. A Woolly Mammoth clone, a LF taming equaliser in a 1RU format which I use when my DB gets a bit boomy, and my always-on HPF. Note the skirt on the HPF frequency select to make fine adjustments easier.
The other thing I can share is the use of nail varnish to paint pedals. It comes in just the right sized bottles and there are a gazillion colour and glitter choices at my local Target store :thumbsup:

Two Cranky Speaker pcb's from EffectsLayouts (Storyboardist). Both are modded to Fifth Gear specs; D1 is 1N4004 and R2 is different on each pedal. R2 is socketed with a 16K Ohm resistor on the one-knobber. R2 is off board wired with a 10K resistor and 10K pot on the two-knobber.
Reused MadBean's 1590A drill template. The 3PDT PCB was flipped and filed down to fit. Both are painted lemon yellow base coat with sparse coats of vermillion red.
