any smokers switch to Vaping yet?

Thanks elgecko; I'll have to read up on resistances, and atomizers in general. Wanting a mod now to power a more serious dripping atty- tried it with a generic disposable one and I definitely want to explore it more now. Oi ve.

On a side note, scored a four pack of Villain Vapors 10ml bottles in a raffle at a local vapor place's grand opening event today! Billy the Kid (pina colada), Bonnie and Clyde (mixed berries?), Queen of Hearts (strawberry/vanilla), and Double Down (apple/grape). Now I need more tanks. :help:

I don't know what you have now, but I had a Bolt for about five months and just got a SID. If I knew then what I know now, I would've gone straight to a variable wattage mod. Of course, they were about twice the cost five months ago. I paid $38 for my bolt and $45 for my SID.

Right now I've got two eGo-C Twist batteries, 900 and 650mah respectively.
I like the variable voltage, and after doing my homework I definitely want variable wattage.
Vapor Joe's blog has a listing for the VAMO (body only) for just under $30.

Seems foolish to buy after only having vaped for about a week, but I don't see myself going back to cigs... ever. Haven't smoked one since I bought the eGos, in any case. What to do...

I bought a bunch of stuff from fasttech.com. Eight days from Hong Kong to California with no problems whatsoever.

I'm a big believer and backups and redundancy. You would've spent that money on cigarettes anyway!

Well, bit the bullet and ordered the vamo. Turns out I had a couple dollars in paypal that I forgot about. After checking out the normal price I couldn't pass up $28 for it.

ETA on my invoice is 5/24; yours arrived in eight? I'm in the same area, so we'll see.
Now to kill four days...

$28 is a screaming deal. Now you need some IMR batteries. Orbtronic.com has good prices.

I'll check it out. From what I've read I'll go with multiple 18350's for the improved performance and option for the short format. I wish I'd found it a week ago... it's only a few dollars more than what I paid for my first twist! :o

One thing I did realize that made me pull the trigger is that I would've spent about that much on the American Spirits I'd smoke... in four days.

To Vamo owners: How are they as far as pocket fit? I honestly don't care either way, but I might look for a maglite holster or something.

I use the VAMO variable voltage. I have been vaping for 2 years and haven't a cigarette yet.

I go to discountvapers.com

The website rocks and you don't spend alot of cash. I think the guy's name is Eric. He answers emails really quick and also the shipping is lightning quick as well. Or....go to your local Walgreens and for about $10 try the BLU for a week to see if you like it. It's all mind over matter.

i prefer single 18350 or 18650 in my vamo - you only need stacked 18350s if you are using 1.3-.16Ω coils over 12w really. with a single 18350, and an xl carto tank, it fits my pocket pretty good. 2Ω carto, set at 8-8.5w, i get about 4-5 hours of vape time.
with a 18650, same tank, it is less pocket friendly, and i get a full day on it, and probably a couple of more hours ... but i generally pull my battery and top it off overnight.

with stacking - always start with a brand new matched pair, and mark them. never use them singly. if you are going to have them in single mode, keep a separate pair, marked accordingly. if you stack an unbalanced pair, even IMR's can blow up.

and get AW or EFEST imr's ... i use AW 14500s in my Dena, i use EFEST button top 18650s in my vamo and rachel's bolt, and i use efest flat top 18350's in my vamo in short mode. i only use flat top icr 18650s in our ego upgrade tubes, the pwm chip in those makes using high drain batteries redundant.
if you need a charger - i HIGHLY recommend the sysmax Nitecore i2/i4 ... the i2 can be had for about $20, the i4 for about $27-30 ... best charger i have ever used.

DV is my first stop usually, unless i need cartos or DIY supplies. i get the pre-wrapped coils from him for my phoenix - they are small enough to run in parallel to get dual coil.

Day 1 back on vaping!!!

The Mt. Dew juice I got with my Vision Spinner and Kanger tanks is gross (tastes like wet pixie stick paper). I guess I'll let it steep. Good thing I had some old Belgian Waffle still.

Just put in an order with Fuzion, I hope they are as tasty as everyone says :)

Also my MisterELiquid order shipped with Grey Matter and VV tank heads.

I'll probably get some RBAs in a few weeks. But I should be good for a while....

who did you get the Mt Dew from?

ive had several, and the only one that was even close was from Vapedudes ... and you didn't put that in a plastic tank did you?

mt dew totally annihilated one of my kanger t2's ... the tip split and literally flew off, and the tank frosted before my eyes like the end of demolition man where stallone freezes snipes ...

I got a Kanger Protank for corosive juices.
I got the Mt. Dew from HoosierEcig. The Vanilla Coffee I got a long time ago was pretty good. So I thought I'd give a different juice a try. It's sitting in a drawer with the cap off (day 2), going to cap it up tonight and let it sit for another week or two and try again.

Nice movie reference.haha. I love that movie.
