anyone else not watch TV?

In the last 2 years my TV habit has taken a huge downturn. I realized the other day that I haven't sat down and put on a tv show in months. In fact, when I'm somewhere there is a tv on (bar, etc) I don't watch it. I also have zero interest in any shows that my gf watches in the evening in bed. I just have so many other things that I'd rather be doing.

Like facebook, talkbass, texting, video games, porn... ???

Just wondering :).

Dumped satellite 2 years ago when we realized that we were paying about $60+ per month to MAYBE watch 1 or 2 shows. No time, no interest, news was 99% BS. HuluPlus & Netflix now come from modem to "monitor" wirelessly via a PS3.

PS:The signature line below has been following me around for a LONG time.

Call it what you want, you are still watching television in my books.

I have never had cable since living on my own. The only time I've watched cable in the past couple of years has been at a friend or girlfriend's house. I must admit that I do feel out of it whenever someone makes a pop culture reference to a TV commercial. *lol*

I never have been much of a TV watcher. I do have a few favorite shows but if I end up missing them due to other things going on then it's no big deal.

I too seem to be more of a DVD kinda guy. Many times I'll put one on for some background while I'm cleaning house.

2 years ago I discovered that the cable company frowns on you not paying your bill for 4 months. I have not had cable since then. I thought it was horrible for about a month then I got over it. I watched DVDs when I wanted to watch something. then a few months ago I finally realized I have an HD TV, so with just a set of rabbit ears I now have access to 11 channels.

I still don't watch all that much TV.
