Anyone ever give up bass for lent?

Bass is a tasty fish I will not give up, ever for anyone, or anything.

Just had a discussion with my wife which was kind of funny. Since Ash Wednesday was yesterday, we were trying to figure out what to give up for lent this year. Needless to say this came up and I laughed.

Curious if anyone tried this this..... Maybe I'll try giving up acquiring new gear for lent ya right!!!

A few years ago my brother gave up beer for Lent. When Easter came around we bought a bunch of canned beers, spray painted and glittered them, and hid them in the yard.
