I never understood the "I don't do drugs, and I never will. But I will occasionally have a few drinks" mentality. The hypocracy level is quite high.
You don't understand it because you don't understand that a single word can have 2 different meanings? For example, you do understand that if one is talking about Aliens coming into our country he is talking about immigrants, not green people from out of space. Right? It's all in context, some words have more then one meaning...
Here, example for you...
"A Dr. told me to go to the drug store and buy some Tylenol."
"I went to a drug dealer and bought some good tasty crack."
Do you recognize that there is a different meanings between these words? Yes, one refers to legal substance, other refers to illegal...
Basically what i am saying here BB is you don't understand it not because you really don't but because you don't want to (or act like you don't for demonstration). You have to understand from context that this person is using word "drug" in terms of "illegal substance", not in terms of Tylanol or legal substance (coffee, alcohol, etc). It doesn't mean that this person is against taking Tylenol, or herpes medicine, it means he does not do what is not allowed, what is not illegal but has no problem with doing something that is legal.
This freaken thing comes up everytime, and everytime it seems like people saying it (usually same people) really do understand but just want to make an argument out of nothing.
In case anyone STILL don't get it or still want to act like they don't...
When a teacher tells you to face the board, do you go up to the board and hit it with your face?
If still don't get it, let me show you guys in pictures...
