Anyone like black Basses with maple necks?

Heck yes! Really, I like maple on anything?

The Sadowsky NYC P5 in my avatar has been my road warrior since I got it back in April 2005. Once it collected a the usual dings and rash, I stopped bothering to cover my belt buckle.

Back when I was four-stringing, my favorite was an Ernie Ball Music Man Sabre... 1988 or 89, I think. Black/black/maple, with pretty birdseye neck and board. That one also became well-worn. Wish I had a picture handy, but it's been gone for over a decade... I unloaded my fours once I realized five was my thing.

Sorry for the low quality picture. It’s a old phone picture of a Polaroid. This is Me at 13 years old in 1994 with my very first bass. Started off with black and maple Peavey Fury
My dad was a huge Pink Floyd fan so I wasn’t surprised at all to get a black p style bass.
