Anyone like black Basses with maple necks?

My valley arts Samick bass. Painted in nitro black. With maple neck. Bought it new in 1996.

It was only years later i began to understand what Valley Arts was. The bass has this amazing precision pickup. Black pickguard with white line in it. Killer bass.

I've always liked the look of Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) signature P Bass. I've come close to buying one. I saw his show which was incredible and he still puts on a very high-end production in regards to sound and visuals along with a beautiful trio of blond wigged chorus singers. And fortunately he still plays many of the classic Pink Floyd songs. One thing I found to be a little questionable was that he uses a backup bass player but I can see his need for that since he plays such a critical role of being the singing front man and the leader of such a massive production. Besides, he must be in his mid seventies by now so I give him a pass on that. I highly recommend seeing one of his concerts once he restarts his tour in 2021.

He still plays the same Black and Maple neck P Bass or at least it's a Fender Custom Shop repro and a HiWatt amp/cab setup. I was able to go to the front of the stage for a close enough look before the show.

Sorry for the crappy iPhone photo. I would have had to jump up on the stage to get any closer and it was too early to get thrown out the back door by security. In the past I used to sneak in my pro camera with 70-200mm Canon lens.
