It is signed. I bought it from exnewyorker (tb member) with the sig in place.

It's a helluva Fretless bass! That preamp really works magic in dialing in enough mwah or meat.

Yes, it's a great look. My Stingray in black with maple looks really rock'n'roll I think. Here it is next to my 20th Anniversary Stingray which I also like a whole bunch.

Best name for a bass! My guitarist friend has a Roland Jazz Chorus amp that he loves - super clean sound and built like a tank!

Ummmm, Yes! My first bass I bought was in 1978...a black 1976 Fender Precision with a maple neck. As I was looking into custom building a dual pickup '54 style P bass a few years ago, this one came along on the used market. Decision was easier because of the black and maple for sentimental reasons. 2013 Fender Custom Shop P Bass Pro.

This is how it came from the factory...I preferred it with no guard so changed to just the chrome control plate.
