Anyone like black Basses with maple necks?

Black looks great with maple. I don't have a black bass with maple but I have a strat. My basses have maple but one is Satin Lake Placid Blue and the other is Satin Surf Green.

I never liked the look of maple neck, black body. However, my old musicman and p bass elite were both that color. Both saw lots of stage and studio time and made me some serious cash over the years. Since I was the player and not the looker, it didn’t bother me much as I typically perform with eyes closed only peering at the neck as needed. It does seem very popular so I guess my taste is a bit left of the norm. I really like a white bass for looks like my Cora 5 with shiny brass hardware. I thing most of what’s left are unpainted some of which are almost stunning due to multiple grain patterns.
By the way, I enjoyed the gear pics on this post. Thanks to all contributors for that.

As you can see I do. Here are mine

I like, no hate, but I prefer RW fb its more for feel than looks I have an all black( hardware, headstock & strings) the rw fb is very dark it often gets mistakened for ebony. I just love the feeling of raw wood under my fingertips! i never dug the finished/lacquered fb feeling.IDK if theres a tone difference, I cant remember( I havent played/owned a maple fb in a long while) if there was one or if I ever heard one, I just really love unfinished fbs & or necks! they certainly look cool as do dark fb.
