My band plays in dropped tunings. Most of our songs are a half step down, and then we do some in C#, G#, C#, F#. I've had problems with some tuners getting the lower tunings on bass but not often. But I wouldn't say there's really much need to have a bass specific tuner. I have definitely found that Korg tuners work better for me than Boss tuners do though!
My Boss tuner doesnt pick up the low E very well even when set to the bass setting. I figured someone had come up with one specifically for low tones. Just askin'.
Seriously, play the harmonic and it will work great.
Does anyone make an electronic tuner that is specifically for a bass? Thanks
get a korg rack tuner, nothing will beat them
The Sonic Research Turbo Tuner picks up my low B accurately and immediately.
