Look at all those glorious amps in that window. I was born too late.
When I first came to California in '84 I bought a 3 bedroom house on a mile long lake north of L.A. with it's own dock, plus an electric runabout so I could putt around and gawk at other houses on that lake, for less than the current cost of the lime green Lambo that parks next to me now. Plus the woman who drives it is perhaps 23? Bizarro world.
Something new from Genzler on the way.....
I'll watch this later, I'm practicing now, and I don't need Nate to crush my soul, and make me feel inadequate about my abilities and/or my equipment.

We still have our Reference series which is ceramic and have done a couple special edition NV cabs which are also ceramic. Of course we also offer the lighter weight Neo products because that's still where the majority of the market is. But we recognize and embrace the tone and performance benefits ceramic based designs bring to the table for those who don't mind the extra weight.
I've been disappointed that I haven't seen any new fretless designs mentioned at this year's NAMM?
That's all part of the new fretlessless design mentioned at this year's NAMM.
I dig it! It looks like Aguilar jacked the 90's SWR Workingmans washing machine cabinet design for their new combo. With the lite weight it should be awesome.

NAMM was fairly fun this year. Not as much new bass gear as in past years, but some fun stuff, for sure. That darned winter storm sent a bunch of people (myself included, but not the entire BGM team) home early, so it did make the two days I was at the Show quite hectic. We have new videos coming out in a steady stream on our YouTube channel, as well as some NAMM Show pics on the Bass Gear Magazine website.
Some of the cooler things we saw at the Show included the Ashdown booth, where most of their production is now being moved back to the UK. They are using new drivers from B & C, Sica, and I believe Ciare, and pretty much all of the revamped products sounded notably improved. The 500w ORIGINal EVO kickback combo was especially impressive. The Quad Cortex Mini is really fantastic, and we loved the new DarkRay 2 from Ernie Ball. That octave down tracks quite well! Torzal had a new (non-twisted) headless fanned-fret model with carbon sleeve reinforced neck that was also very impressive.

I've been hoping for a 2x12 or 2x15 from Orange for years. A vertical 2x12 that is wide enough to hold the AD200 without looking like a big T is on my Wishlist still
I may have to get one of these cabs when they get here.
That 112ULV as a combo is going to be killer. Vertical orientation, super lightweight, and great sound. Sign me up!
It's probably Big Fret. I've seen an uptick in online rhetoric associating fretless fingerboards with "anarchy" and chaos.
