I thought it wasn't supposed to happen until 2012?????
Too bad the gloom and doom folks can't get their dates straight.

No thats the end of the world, 12/21/2012. Not to be confused with the rapture of May 21st 2011.
So it seems that all us heathens have to wait til winter of next year which sucks because that is like 4 days before christmas and I was expected a new half-stack from Santa.

just so we are all on the same page, the rapture is saturday, and i presume it is 6pm california time because camping lives there and did his calculations there. that would be 8pm for me, and i will be running sound for a friend's gig. i suggested they play that REM tune.
the end of the world will not occur till 5 months later, oct 21st. that is, for those of us who don't ascend. honestly, i don't know if my "chosen" status means i get to go up or not...

I knew people in the 70's that said the Rapture was coming. Oddly enough, I haven't seen any of them in about thirty years.
