DRIVE THEORY: (I am the Drummer)

I am a 24 year old Law Student who is mainly into Hard Rock, and Country Rock

The guitarist/vocalist is a 24 year old graduate of UMass Lowell (major in Music Education) who works music camps for underprivileged children which are run by churches. He is mainly into Dave Matthews Band, and U2

The Bassist is a 24 yo Perpetual "Going back to college" type who works at a Lens Crafters and at CVS. a big RHCP fan.

Im a 23 yr old hospital file clerk- (american splendor anyone?)
The drummers (22) job involves convincing millionaires to go to seminars
The Guitarist (23) works in a music shop
The DJ (20) is an electrician
The Singer (18) is unemployed (but daddy pays for it) and works occasonaly in her old mans studio

The Wierdest part is thats respectivly we are
Muslim
Jewish
Chrisitian
Catholic
and Buddist

Needless to say we dont talk about God

Guitarist - kid who hates school with a passion and dresses like a "bro" complete with bright purple sunglasses at every show

me- i alternate between indie kid, hippie, and metal head, on pretty much a daily basis, but i can usually be found in black jeans and hendrix t shirts

drummer - complete science nerd, is training to be an airline pilot, is 5' 2" but rocks the biggest drum set ive ever seen and man can that dude play, also the biggest metal head ive ever met, but he looks nothing like it

myself (nursing student, went back to school after 23 yrs with one company 42 yrs old)
guitar (a/c repair ; pizza delivery 44 yrs old)
drummer (plays music full time 21 yrs old)
sax (GM UAW member 43 yrs old)
trumpet (unemployed for last 4 months 26 yrs old)
lead vocals (retired 58 yrs old)
3 of us white guys and 3 of us black guys
totally different views on many political and social issues, but we all have a mutual respect for each other. We have worked through a few ugly disagreements, and that has made us tighter.

I have no idea what anyone in my current band does for a living, as we only formed on Saturday.

My last band -

Me (bass) - 24yr old Marketing/Data Entry Specialist for a Hardware Distributor
Guitar - 24yr old working at The Gap & Jamba Juice
Guitar - 32yr old working for Boost Mobile and formerly Starbucks
Drummer - 25yr old working the loading bay at UPS
Keys - 22yr old working as a meter reader for The Gas Company

Christianity is an overarching faith that includes Catholicism, all the various sects of Protestantism (from Anglicans/Episcopalians to Presbyterians to Lutherans to Baptists and Methodists), Eastern Orthodox and even Gnosticism.

The doctrines of all of them differ a bit, hence why there are different sects. Before the reformation there were not as many, and in Western Europe the main, and in some cases only kind of Christianity was Catholicism. I am not Christian, but I grow sick of the way some people insist the Catholics aren't Christian.
