I have 2 A.M.P.s and a Thunderfunk with an Avatar SB112 and an Epifani UL410. So no they aren't matching, but they all sound killer together.

F'n SWEET!! Nothing (IMHO) beats a 2x15 rig! PLUS, it's all Mesa. I can only imagine the punch and tones you get with that setup.Mesa TT-800 with 2 Subway 1x15 matched stack and a Quilter BB-800 with GR Bass Aerotech 212 Slim. Will be getting a combo version of the 212 Slim hopefully soon.

I recently picked up a new Mesa WD-800 head and have been searching for a cab to go with it. I know the correct answer is to get whatever sounds best… But for now I’m just curious how many of you have mismatched brands for your amp and cabinet combo? I don’t know why but it bothers me a bit to think of getting a different brand cab (prob ocd lol), but then I also know I’m limiting myself by not exploring all tonal options. So I’m just sort of curious how prevalent it is for mismatches. Thanks!
My kit is mismatched. Although, I admit, I will eventually be getting a second set in the form of a Mesa SW 112/115 pair of cabs. For now, I am LOVING the DNA cabs and they’re not going anywhere. This past year the WD800 saw three gigs and the GM800 saw two on top of the DNA cabs with plenty of dB to spare. Notable point, four of those gigs were outside and everyone from the venues reported that they could hear me clearly.I recently picked up a new Mesa WD-800 head and have been searching for a cab to go with it. ooooo...my first bass was on of those. This is my only matching pair. My other cabs are currently both bergantino, my amps are ampeg, verellen, EA, sound city, and some home made stuff. I’ve had gear from a ton of different brands, always went with what sounded best irrespective of manufacturer.
