From what I'm sure was it's first EVER set up! The action is now quite playable, new round wounds on it, the nut has been repaired, (the tech and I agreed to strive to keep the bass as original as possible and after some work one the nut, he realized that I didn't have to change it! Bonus!) the neck had a spacer added at the saddle to help lower the upper register string action...
Well, I'm at work now and can't wait to plug 'er in and really get an appreciation for this instrument. As you may remember from my earlier post in this thread, I only had the bass for about a week, before I took it in and at that time, it had a bad crackle from a bad wire somewhere, that has also been fixed, so... home with me tonight, plug it into my 1969 traynor amp, sew some bright purple pockets on a pair of old jeans, put on some sandals and I'm visiting the late 60's... again!

My 1978 Aria Precision with added J pickup. Pickguard was originally white (but smashed when I dropped bass at gig).
Plays and sounds great.

Ive just finshed stripping my Lefty Aria it was originally a deep red colour and fancied a change.
I bought it about 7 years ago and it never had a truss rod cover so ive never known what model it exactly is. (any ideas)

The necks bolt on if that helps.

Ive had a look at the TSB-350 and from the pictures the top horn is longer than the one on my bass.
Does anyone know where i can buy a ARIA truss rod cover???

I would ask someone that has one to trace theirs and make your own. Unless you happened to find one on eBay, your pretty much out of luck
Well, here's a pic of mine. Bought used probably 13 years ago. It has mostly been gathering dust and the kids broke a tuning key off of it, as you might notice in the pic. I really need to get some new strings and start playing again.
the horns on yours look longer then a csb , could be the angle of the pic though .
the knobs don't fit any images (I've found) for a tsb,
so if it is a csb . the 300 had the red(in your case) stain and 380 has a very glossy clear coat over the stain.
In this pic 380 on the left and 300 on the right. ignore the tuners on the 300. the gloss makes the 380 seem darker

try asking over at matsumoku.org. someone may have a spare over there. there is a wanted section and a lot of people into there matsumoku made instruments. i also remember an aria decal thread if you wanted to put the logo on the head stock . good luck
