I just got mine and it is a dream to play, the eq it's not big deal but sounds really good with my amp it doesn't get in the way. Thinking of putting a nordy MM5 and maybe a John East BBT01 or an ACG preamp.

Here's my good ol' Aria Pro II Avante, a proud member of my humble collection of basses. I don't have many info on it thou.. couldn´t find anythin on the net
Bought it used back in 2002... owner said he bought it in 99/00...
If someone could help me out, it would be awesome!

Bit of a random question... does anyone know who made the strap buttons for the Aria SB series? Are they Gotoh?

i dont know who makes them,but my two arias have different strap buttons.one has 'top hat' style ones(sorry,i dont know the proper terms!) and the other has more 'funnelled' types.anyone else notice this?or do i have aftermarkets on at least one bass?

Here's my Aria Bass - the designer sourced D'angelico's 17" body width & design attributes [as did James L. D'Aquisto] for this early Aria Thinline Bass.

Unplugged the Sound is full & rich - plugged in the Single Coils put out a solid signature that's current for most recording & gig work . Weird & Wonderful.

That sir is one beauty. Was gonna comment before, but always seems like im in a rush. If you ever decide to sell it, give e a buzz.

I'd bet the original strap pin on the top horn was lost and replaced with a random one.

Search gave me nothing, so I thought I'd pop in here instead - What're your opinions on the Aria Pro II 6-string? Seems impossible to get information on and is almost too cheap to refuse, anyone have experience with it? how's it feel/sound? They're just so pretty >.<

It looks like a DIY job. They just added an extra bit of rosewood and two frets.
