Beautiful job on the Aria, I always liked those basses, kind of an Alembic vibe going, and they sound great.

The Aria is looking good. I was going to comment on the body to the right of it also. Can you offer any details?

I was considering alembic electronics and pickups, but theyre too expensive new and dont pop up used as much. I had an 85 spoiler 5 string which sounded nice but I didnt like the neck.

Nope, i was planning on having nordstrand make me a custom passive harness but am open to suggestions.

New electronics. Ordered pickups from rautia guitars and bought the components myself to wire it up. Two stacked volume tones, two pickup coil switches, and a pickup selector and jack.

Frets and nut installed. Pickups were built to order by rautia guitars. I was expecting about 3-5 weeks but they already shipped, hopefully i get them this week, so i had this in the back burner while i worked on a precbs Mustang and 70s gibson sg. Bought a 85 japanese p and put it back in shape too during this down time.

Frets need polishing and fine tuning, body needs a final coat of paint. Everything looking good.

Bought some black grover tuners as well. I have the originals in case i ever decide to sell the bass.

The pickups have taken a while to get thru customs. I havent sprayed the final coat in case I need to reshape the routes minimally. Im pretty happy with how things came along. Here are some electronic and control pics.

Everything is new on the bass but the body, neck (and the neck was refretted and worked on, new nut too). Hardware is all new but the bridge (which for aesthetic purposes was kept original but refinished rebuilt as well, new screws too)

Just need to paint (final coat probably) and clean everything now. Pickups look incredible and feel very well made.
