Stained it black before painting. First coat of paint goes tommorrow.

Looked at the frets and they were beat up, getting new brass frets

I never knew they made these, makes me consider selling the barts

Yes, I can attest that the Rautia pickups sound as close to the vintage ones as you can get. I would go that route if you really want to bring it back to original (or close as possible) specs!

You buy direct from his site? ive had trouble getting a hold of him by phone and email. Any help would be appreciated. more pics coming soon. ditching the barts definitely and going with as close to original as possible

Bass cleaned up great, some buffing up and polishing. Need to install nuts and frets. Pickups are on their way from rautia guitars and need someone to sell me replacement knobs ans electronic harness.

On a side note, I love your "Scrapocaster" there in the background. I'm currently gluing up a pile of offcuts to make something similar...

The Aria is looking good. I was going to comment on the body to the right of it also. Can you offer any details?

I've seen quilted tops before, but that's some serious quilting going on there
