Tom, welcome to the 'nite lite' club, lol. many luscious tones in the 70.
i recall first plugging in and thinking this sounds like a record. it has the sounds my ear recalls of great early recordings i heard as a kid. a fine amp.

Thank you! Great way of describing the tone, for sure. When I very first fired it up (without even checking where the tone controls were set), it immediately offered up a very warm, round, big, fat tone. Then, after playing around with the tone controls for a while, I found myself with a very clear, harmonically rich, more "vocal" tone. After still more playing, I had a mid-forward, more wooly tone. Later, I had a fairly "flat" - but still harmonically rich - tone dialed in. It really does cover a lot of ground, but the controls are definitely very interactive, and I still have some learning/experimenting to do. Definitely looking forward to comparing it to my Beast.
Also, you have me very inspired to try it with some of my AudioKinesis cabs!
