That's great, but all that means is you haven't had the misfortune to encounter a dishonest seller there....yet.
It doesn't matter where you buy used gear online from.....ebay, Reverb, forum classifieds, GC, wherever. Eventually you'll run into a bad seller. That's a given. What matters is how the problem is handled vis a vis the third party arbitrators.
It's becoming clear that while ebay prefers to protect its buyers, Reverb is establishing a rep for guarding their sellers at the expense of their buyers. That's their prerogative, but buyers have choices too.

The seller in all honesty probably didn't even realize they were there. They are so small....even I had to look twice. They are pretty obvious to me. No dings means no dings. It doesn't mean minor hard to see dings, it means no dings period and I don't see how anyone could have missed those.

One person's ding is another person's minor blemish, absent a metric definition of a ding. I'm pretty scrupulous about description when I sell something, but not everyone is so careful, but I still managed to mess up once, even after testing something
I used to be a collector in the 1980s (not of basses), and mint then generally meant as new, but even then some used mint when I would have considered things to be very good, not mint. So despite the official definition, mint means different things to different people.
Practical options - ask for photos as different people define dings differently, or have Received check for the use of mint and pop up the dictionary and ask if that is really what is meant and indicate the buyer has a right to return, all shipping paid, if it doesn't meet the dictionary definition. Is it mint? It depends on what the definition of is is.

It may already exist (I haven't searched), but surely there should be a sticky in the "For Sale" section here, outlining standardised terms we can all agree on, such as :

It's a mint lightly reliced model. You are lucky he didn't charge more. I guess my thumbs are insensitive. I don't pay attention to stuff like this.
I actually have a couple of instruments with little neck dings (bigger than those) that I like because I can use them as landmarks, and be more confident that I am in the right place on the neck. Keeps me from being tempted to look at my fingers while I play.

What are the condition ratings anyway?
LN, mint = (like new)
EX+ = (a few light scratches on the pickguard etc.)
EX = (used but well taken care of with a few scratches and dings)
GOOD = (used but not abused with noticeable wear but everything in good working order)
FAIR = (heavy wear but in good working order)
UG = (ugly but everything works)
PARTS = (good for parts only)

If I was a seller like Reverb, I would require all sellers to fully document with photos every imperfection and give the piece an overall rating using something like what I have above. As to the OP, I haven't seen enough photo evidence to make me think that you've been ripped off.

Good sellers do this. I've bought tons of stuff on Reverb, and been happy with my purchases.
I agree GOOD SELLERS. I think Reverb should require it and save themselves the aggravation.
Most New basses at guitar center have worse dings than that
I agree he mis-described the item and it should be reconciled.
If you like the bass the dings won't be a big deal.
