An Ocean Between Us is good. But there is one song where the singing has auto-tuneBlatant auto-tune. I'm sure it's all over all the albums, but it's used correctly.
Frail Words and Shadows were the two I liked the most. An Ocean was better than Shadows. But I bought Shadows when I was in rehab a couple weeks after it's release... so it's more personal I guess. haha.
Heard the same thing from the rehab workers of Metallica's 'Death Magnetic.' Sunk deep with them. Albums can be all about timing and context. Every time I hear Layne staley sing about death it raises the hairs on my neck. My rehab tune was 'weak and powerless.' Bumped that everyday to my first out-patient.

Every account of this story that I have heard mentioned that this was a Christian metal band. Even when the 50 year old classic rock jock on the local radio station here in STL was presenting it. I'm pretty sure this is because this band is a Christian Metal Band, not because the media likes to persecute Christians ( which I am not denying
)I heard about the Elvis impersonator story, along with the rest of the people who watch, read or listen to the news in this country. Claiming that the media unfairly targets Arabs or Muslims in this country is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.
Anyone who listens, watches or reads any news outlet and thinks they are getting objective journalism ( a dead language) must be in a mental institution.
I have listened to a few songs by this band, As I Lay Dying, and holy crap, he should be incarcerated for that. The fact that he is an idiot who wanted to kill his ex wife, yet lacked the intestinal fortitude to do the job himself and decided to hire an undercover cop to do it is just icing on the cake.
Hmm, if Ralph Nader were arrested for DUI while driving a muscle car would they media be wrong for mentioning that he had campaigned for both auto safety and ecology in the past?

Not the same thing. That analogy also would have to recognize that the media would have held it against "auto safety" and "ecology" because Nader claimed to value them.
That is how "Christianity" is treated often; evaluated due to its purported followers and not according to its doctrine.
But I digress.

That is just it when it is pointed that someone who claims they support something actually doesn't live by those codes that person is a hypocrite. If another person who follows a given belief system reads that as attack the belief system that is their misreading. Nothing in the original article reads as, "Christians are all a bunch of wife murderers." It does read as, "this guy who claims to be Christian is not acting that way because he tried to have his wife murdered."

Absolutely. Just some realize it...and some never realize their deficiencies and short-comings.
Hypocrisy just doesn't seem to apply here. If the guy is guilty, it's not because he became a hypocrite, but because he went completely off the rails.
