The birdseye neck/board is about as good as it gets, and the gloss neck finish really cops that 70's vibe.

I'm not much of a photgrapher, but this gives you a pretty good feel for the birsdseye and also the nice trans finish and figuring on the ash. It's really a beauty!!! I really like that 'big' eye birdseye. You don't see it much. TBer Vic just got an MTD that has a similar looking board. Really nice!

Nice collection, I'm waiting on my Ash/Maple NYC 5 w/ SC's. Dare I suggest FClef's j bass, I've heard great thing about those as well.

Not exactly like every modern J, but I made it to be the most versitile J instrument around. So I had Mike Lull build me a PJ5 but the J is in the 70's position. So it is a PJ but I love the J tone so much, so does it count?
