Whoa! That's new, AJ. You never fail to have basses I love. And neither does KJung, either. Killer family, dude. That Celinder is probably one of my favorite basses on Talkbass. Blue rules!

You're right! Too many moons have passed, my brain mis-fires occasionally.I guess I obviously have them in the same musical category...
That's not very hard to do- Carly Simon and Carole King are in pretty much the exact same vocal range and their voices do sound alike. I've often thought the same about Sting, Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel, but to a lesser degree.
Yeah, I do get Jeff Gordon now and then. I imagine it's better than Harold Ramis or something...
Not with the Big Singles as I just put them in last weekend. I have giged it and it sounded awesome live. It used to have EMGs which I did some recording with. It will be interesting to see how the Singles sound.

Here's my Ash/Maple 24F-5. The Big Singles sound so nice I use passive as much as active, which is saying a lot on a Sadowsky IMO.

While I have a bunch of Ash/Maple boutique basses and have a Jazz in the works (
), these three are the only Jazzes I've had that fit the bill IIRC. The Elrick New Jazz Standards look like Jazzes but sound like something else.

I'm guessing my Warmoth wouldn't qualify as boutique (then again maybe it does) but here it is anyway. Bart pre and 59J's.

Right back at ya bass! I had a Sadowsky Standard 4 quilt with cherry burst. Man I miss that bass. Yours is sweet!
