OK... here's somethin I never knew...

Just ordered mine at music123. Got my confirmation email from musiciansfriend. Double checked the phone number I called, and DEFINITELY called music123.

If this is old new or a repost oh whell. If not, ya learn something new every day.

I think that MF owns Music123, but I could very well be wrong. I know that GC and MF are the same company, and that Gibson is under their roof as well.

Musicians Friend, Guitar Center, Music 123, and Woodwind and Brasswind are all owned by the same company. It's crazy that they will price match/beat each other.

I posted this in the ATK hot deals thread but just wanted to brag about my good luck some more:

I did the Music 123 price match on a red sparkle 300 and got it for $169. Then I did the price match on black 305 and the quote they sent me was for $130. They didn't give me free shipping but I ended up getting a black 305 for $141. I got lucky.

LOL - That's more like theft! JK Enjoy your bass. If the 4-stringer's are all gone I might try to get the 5er instead...

since mine has had its origin scan and is sitting in Lenexa, KS, I guess I can own up to mine.

Black Sparkle 5 stringer - $119 and free shipping to boot. My 2nd quote came in exactly 100 bucks higher, perhaps somebody mixed up a digit? At $119 it was a crazy good deal.. feeling very fortunate right now!
