Couple updates regarding my 305.
1. I've found a few frets that tend to buzz. I think the frets would benefit from being leveled and dressed.
2. I'm a little slow. I just realized you can only string through the bridge on this bass.

I also noticed Ibanez installed tapered B-strings, so I think I'll stick with tapered B-strings in the future.
3. I still haven't been able to play this through my rig.
4. Installed Dunlop Straploks tonight. I tend to use a dab of wood glue when I install strap locks. I didn't get the first one in all the way, and, by the time I couldn't go any further, the glue was drying up, so I couldn't remove it.

Before installing the second, I read the instructions. I noticed they recommend putting some bar soap or wax on the tip of the screws before installing. I also noticed I needed to drill the holes a little deeper before installing the strap locks with the provided screws. The second one is nice and snug. Fortunately, with a strap on the bass, the loose strap button tends to stay put. I really need to be more patient when I install strap locks in the future. :scowl:
