I have absolutely no idea why you'd feel sad for any of us. We're happy, we're having fun, people like our music and like us as people... The more established crabcore and crunkcore bands are even quite profitable. I really see nothing to feel sad for. Well, OK, I wish crunkcore bands could wear Ed Hardy shirts, but we probably couldn't get away with that. That's kinda sad. Very very very slightly sad.

Burlington...why are you selling your pitchblack? Not liking it anymore? i have the regular version, should i expect some failures?

They're not revolutionary or confused hipsters. I'm guessing they're a bunch of dudes making the music they want to make and having fun doing it, just like any of us would hope to do. I'm a fan. I thought the autotune would bug me at first, but I grew to like it. It's a fun album to put on at a party or on a car ride.

But what do I know, my favorite band is Fall Out Boy.

Well, yes, I think that's just about all there is to it. And a lot of people hate that very intensely. I'm still not sure why, but I think I'm slowly figuring it out.

Having used some autotune on a few tracks, I gotta say it's not quite like that. If it was just about fixing a singer's lousy pitch they'd use subtler settings that won't sound so blatantly obvious and artificial (it's not hard to do). They're using it as a sound effect.

Maybe the guy can sing, maybe he can't. Some vocalists who can sing do use autotune sometimes just for a more synthetic sound.

Btw I think the best compliment a vocalist can get is being asked if a track they sang has autotune on it when in fact it doesn't.

we get that a lot haha. i have tricks to make him sound a little more tuned and modern (since its the sound of the last 2 decades), but even without it, people assume its been tuned.

nope. he actually learned to sing before he stepped up to a mic

I can get through it solely because I laugh so hard watching it. I can only imagine how terrible it is live.

The best part is when it goes into the techno beat:rolleyes:. The song has zero dynamics whatsoever.

Effect or no It's like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. If these guys get rich playing this crap good for them. Not my cup o' tea though. Enjoy.

I can't believe it either...I kind of like it for some reason:rollno:

All the synchronized crabbing, the jogging in place, the hip hop voice box, the banging of the heads in unison, the matching outfits, the strip mall angst... it gets all heavy, and then comes the dance music! Can something be so hideous it's cool? I say yes!:D

They're recognized all right... mostly by people who hate them, but they definitely got their name out there. It works. Lil B is another guy from a completely unrelated genre that I see doing something similar.

If you hate how it sounds, that's perfectly reasonable. I don't actually like their music much either, haha. Kinda fun but too heavy for my taste.
