I'm excited to see what Duke's commitment to development brings.
Your comments and observations have played a big role in the direction I'll be exploring in 2017.
Some of my earliest ideas about bass cab design were embodied in a prototype cab that was beta-tested back in the middle of 2009... almost a year before my first commercial effort, the Thunderchild 112, was officially launched. I felt like that 2009 prototype fell short on practicality, and despite building several modified versions, I was never quite able to get it "over the hump".
In the meantime I've learned things from doing the Thunderchild line, the Hathor line, and the Birdhaus line. So the time has come for me to have another go at what I was trying to do back in 2009.
Don't worry, I'm not abandoning things like the update to the Hathor 1855, and the 2009 idea doesn't make any of my other cabs "obsolete", even if it works as hoped.
