AudioKinesis Cabs Part VI...

Can you guys remind me what the 2 switches on the back of my version 1 thunder child AF do? And what position do they need to be in to have everything neutral?

I've got a version 1 Thunderchild non-af, but I think the switches are the same.

Top switch is a treble attenuation. Up is full on, down attenuates the high end a bit.

Bottom switch is a horn on-off switch. Up is on, down is off.

So true neutral for the cab is both switches up.

Top switch down can tame the high end down a bit if it's sounding harsh.

I couldn't recall which switch does which but mine are both up at all times. If I need to adjust voicing I look to the plugs - genius!

This is our 4th or 5th rehearsal preparing for a set at yet another Austin music festival called New Media Art and Sound Summit (Invalid Link Removed).
The vibes player is in Tuscon. I haven't met the guy. He and the guitarist have collaborated for I think more than a decade, writing and recording via online file-sharing. They haven't seen each other in nine years. Our first full band rehearsal was planned for today, but the Tuscon guy's flight is delayed. Saturday should be fun.

I think most of the bass signal is a Demeter VTBP D.I., but there has to be some Hathor 1203 bleed into the room mics.
