took delivery of a 1506 on 5/23. still getting to know it, but among other things it has big bottom. as you would expect, it hits way harder than a 1203. of course, it's also just physically much larger, but portability still good - much easier to lug than say, my old mesa walkabout scout 15. i think it's gonna be a helluva rock cabinet.

I got to try an original 1505, phenomenal rock cab for sure!

I have a 1505. I would not describe it as uncolored but that is what I love about it. It definitely has some magic grind happening, hairy without being overwhelming, muddy or obtrusive. TC series is much more PA like uncolored tone. For me the TC112 was a bit too clean, together they were great, but more machismo than I needed.

Well, it's here! After a few false starts and delays (bad weather, Duke's health etc.), my C112T arrived today, just in time for rehearsal.

I really do want to give a shout out to Duke. He has been so incredibly patient and forthcoming during the entire process, when I'm sure it was very frustrating.

Even better, my Quilter BB800 turned up yesterday after I traded it.

Definitely has lived up to the hype so far. That being said, it's replaced a Berg CN212, and both of them are excellent cabs. But even the bandmates noticed and commented on how well the C112T sat better "naturally" in the mix.

Looking forward to exploring the switch and porting possibilities. I played with all ports in, all switches up tonight.

Happy new cab / new amp day! I have the same combination and IMO it just kills.

Is that a single or double Mono case? Did the amp ride with the bass or the cab? How do you like the Tick? (Haven't used one, myself - mixed feelings about the idea and the price - but I have a Vertigo single and M80 dual - not sure if the dual is Tick ready...)

Sorry for the derail! The cab-cover with pocket looks like a good idea, in any case.

Cab cover with the pocket is definitely handy. My 1203s (I have H and C) have Tuki covers with pockets and I’m able to put my Quilter in one and my Furman power strip in another. One trip load ins and outs are a wonderful part of my gigging life...it totally suits my casual lifestyle but seems to make others semi jealous and hateful towards me. Haha! You just have to be thankful for what you have in this situation and laugh at the haters when they resent having to make multiple trips and you get to talk with the pretty girls at the bar

Dual M80, mini amp rides in the tick, cables and book in the pocket. The tick can also fit a Nano pedalboard if I swap out for the larger head.

The tick is pretty useful, but there’s a temptation to carry everything, now that you can carry everything. With two solid body basses, cables, stands, shirt, sunscreen, a beer, earplugs, snacks, dowsing rod, straps, and a copy of War and Peace, it’s pushing 40 or 50 pounds before you know it.

At any rate, it lives on the M80 now since it’s much more useful than the tiny front pockets.
