+1 to Lomo's advice! You can pick up a nice used head for around $500 give or take.

mY 02: Wait about 2 months. After GB releases the Streamliner and SMax 9, used (and new) prices of the GB 6 and 9, as well as many others, will drop. You can already get a new Shuttle 9 for well under 700 off eBay (makes me roll my eyes when I see folks buying used ones for 650 in the TB classifieds).
Thanks for the sage advice gentlemen! I appreciate your help!

Ok just sold a cab, and going to pull the trigger on one these. I have a b410 with deltas i picked up cheap for practice and really like it, its a 4ohm. I'm thinking 4 ohm on the tb, but I'm a little nervous about having enough volume. I've used a 210 standalone before and it wasn't enough. So 410 is great for what I need, will the 4ohm Tb be enough?:help:

This is exactly what is making me wait to pull the trigger on one (or 2) of these.

I definitely want one, I just don't know if I want one or 2, and if I buy one, it'll need to be the 4ohm.

Will one 4ohm be loud enough for my needs, I don't know, and there are basically no published specs such as sensitivity, etc, so it's a shot in the dark.

I would have already bought one if I had the answers to a few (albeit difficult to answer) questions.

If you have a head that'll do 500 watts into 4 Ohms this will match your 410 for volume and be clearer down low-I'll bet on it.

Right on! U will dig it dude! Offer some feedback after you take it for a few test drives!

Will do. I'm starting to turn into an Avatar fan boy. I had some lots of problems with my Mesa M9, and it totally turned me off of them, quit using my PH412, sold it. I was doing a lot gigs with my $150 Avatar 410 that I planned on just using at the practice space, and really got into it. I was looking at 3 way cabs and this popped up almost as soon as I started looking. If the TB impresses me as much as my 410 did, it might be the best $400 I've spent on gear in a long time.:bassist:

Cool you got one ordered - did Dave say they were shipping today Thursday? I ordered last week and should also be seeing mine next week - I have never played through a 15 let alone a 3 way

When I talked to him he said that he couldn't get boxes fast enough, kept selling out.The guy he has building cabs for him just dropped a bunch of them off right before I called. He had over 30 of them to build. Said everything should be built and caught up by Monday. He was shipping out tomorrow and Monday.

side note: If anyones interested in getting one order soon. Introductory pricing isn't going to be around much longer.

When I spoke with him he did say sales were doing well, and I am sure at that price. This will be a $450 experiment for me since there is little real world data yet, but I have been happy with my B210 so far and feel it is a reasonable gamble. As I said above I have never even played through a 15 let alone a 3 way so this should be an interesting experiment for me all together.

It'll be interesting to me to see if this still sells at this pace, after the "TB rush."
Will their regular customer base buy in?

color me curious....

I hope that's the case, I ordered mine before Christmas and I'm still waiting for it to ship.
