awkward situation!

Who knows, maybe you'll be watching a horror movie in the dark, she'll get scared and cuddle up against you. You'll have your arms around her, she'll look up at you with that look in her eyes, you'll stare directly back into her eyes with that same look...things'll start to get heated up, and the next thing you know you're playing monopoly 'til 3am whilst listening to the Beavis and Butt Head Experience CD. You might even eat some toast, with jam, together. Maybe even have a nice relaxing bath in a tub full of champagne and marshmellows. Oh and there'll probably be sex.

I'm too emotionally detached for posts at TB to make me laugh, but that one got close.

And as already stated, not wanting a long distance relationship doesn't mean you'll keep your hormones at bay. Who knows, maybe you'll be watching a horror movie in the dark, she'll get scared and cuddle up against you. LMAO! So true....

Why ask a question like this on a forum where you admit yourself that the people "don't know you". It's irrelevant anyway - only you know if YOU think it's a good idea, and only YOUR parents can ultimately decide anyway. It makes no difference whatsoever what people here think.
very true...you asked for our opinion, then you got one, then told us we don't really know you...so the odds are, you are going to what you want to do, no matter what we tell you...did you just want us to make this a "forbidden" love, where we all tell you know, and that gets you more excited to go?

and i also agree with heroincredible on this one...just because it's christian camp, that doesn't mean that you both are immune to those hormones that are raging in your body as we speak, and 5 days alone with her (i know you said parents, but i doubt they will be able to police you all the time), and and if you would travel the distance to see her, you obviously like her...trust me...you will feel something

LOL=D Thats all there is to say:O

I wouldn't let you go. For a start, you're not old enough to have sex. And her parents are going to wonder why there is some weird kid turning up to live at theri house. If I was the parent of a vulnerable teenage girl, I certainly wouldn't want some weird kid coming to stay at my house.

Plus, the possibilty of her boyfriend getting wind of you staying will casue friction, you could even end up getting done in. And just think of the terror and intimidation you will feel for the rest of the 5 days knowing at any time he could be back to beat you again.

it's not even worth asking.

Yeah, none of us know YOU, but all of us guys have been 15 once. You can go to bible camp every day of your life, but that isn't going to stop your hormones from acting up and starting to develop desires to reproduce. It is normal, so don't feel bad.

Look around you, teen pregnancy is at all time highs. I am sure more than a few of those pregnant teenage girls and the boys who helped out have been to a bible camp or two.

You're treading dangerous waters here. Just be careful.

Jeez, people. Give the guy some credit. Not EVERYONE is a sex-crazed bucket-o-hormones. When I was 15, I had male friends sleep over and I can assure you, Nothing happened. Some people are truly just friends. I know, it's a radical concept in 2006.

Keep multiple forms of protection handy in the minute chance that things should escalate -- better to have and not need than to need and not have -- but honestly... A sensible 15 year old (and folks, he's got some sense, knowing he doesn't want a long distance relationship!) will not be needing them for years.

Dude, have your folks talk with her folks and see how everyone feels. Keep your wits about you and prove you are trustworthy and hopefully you get to hang again before the summer's over.

This is why there is need for caution. Many times it is the good old fashioned bible camp kids who end up getting themselves into trouble when they are in situations that may lead to sexual activity.

It is very naive to believe that someone who goes to bible camp won't have sex. It is also unwise for a 15 year old to think they are immune to sexual desires.

Jeeze. I have a few things to clear up. The girl who i'm staying with has a boyfriend and he will be there the whole time. He was cool with the idea and wanted to meet me. The girl asked her parents about it and they thought it was a great idea. I met them before but i didnt talk long. Obviously my parents are going to talk to them before they say yes. Also, I really don't see myself as a "sex-crazed bucket-o-hormones" (as tzadik put it) and i'm the same way with drugs. I've been around people using them and i've never even once thought of joining. I always leave if i can actually. I'm the same way with sex and other typical activites of my "sex-crazed bucket-o-hormones" friends. I just never really considered doing it. First off I really think my sister would kill me becuase she has always lectured me on how bad and pointless all that crap is. if she doesn't kill me my parents would. So i've got a lot of reasons to not do anything like that.

When you were 15, and had male friends sleep over, they may have very well behaved themselves, but I GUARANTEE, there was an under the covers chubby you were not aware of.:hiding:

so the boyfriend is going to be there the whole time, as well as you.

WOW they really trust their daughter.

so what about this other girl?

and also a thought to consider.

just because you claim that your hormones may not flowing, doesn't mean theirs aren't
