awkward situation!

well this is tough to explain.

i met these two girls in the winter at a winter retreat and i've talked to them a lot since. i just got back from a week with them at a camp. they live two hours away and are pretty cool. they thought of this cool idea that i would go and stay at one of their houses for like 5 days just for fun and to hang out. the one who i would stay with has a boyfriend and her parents would be there the whole time. I would sleep in my own room too. Besides that I would NEVER want a long distance relationship. This is hard to explain but my sister just got dumped for the second time by her boyfriend that lives right by the two girls. I dont think it would ever work and i see these girls just as friends.

If you were my parents would you let me go?

1) you're 15

2) you don't drive, so most likely your parents aren't going to want to drive you two hours away, to hang out with just friends.

3) they won't want you 2 hours away, for 5 days.

me thinks tb91 has crush on girl w/o boyfriend.

so plans to spend the week at the girl's house who has a boyfriend to not make it look obvious.

also dude, think of the girl's boyfriend. he's going to be pretty pissed when he finds out some guy he doesn't know is going to spend the week at his girls house

well i guess its hard because you don't know me but I'm not like that at all. seriously.

also why would i want a girl that lives 2 hours away. my sister had a bad experience with that and i would never be able to handle the distance. Also my sister would drive and it would be a hour because we would meet half way. HER PARENTS WILL BE THERE TOO.

dude.

not saying that you want to go out with a girl who lives two hours away, but there are other things besides dating that 15 year old boys want.

having her parents there means absolutely nothing. i don't mean to say sound cocky by saying this, i'm just proving a point. i spent the last 4 nights at my girlfriend's house, having her parents there didn't stop a thing.

you are only 15, you don't know that ;)

trust me...when you get there, she is going to say, "I'm bored" and then you will say "me too" and then i have a feeling that you both will get a feeling if you know what i mean ;)

plus long-distance relationships suck anyways

Long distance "relationship"? Like that's some kind of reasoning that will make an adult believe a 15 year old boy won't try to get in the pants of a 15 year old girl? Do you even begin to realize how unbelievably silly that sounds? Even if you are on your way to seminary school they won't buy it, lol.
Nut it up, ask your folks if you can go, arrange for them to talk with the other parents if possible, and let it go where it goes.
Jeez La-freakin'-weez! Angst is so self inflicted.:rollno:

Go watch "Hope Is Emo" on youtube.

well after reading what all you guys said i see where you're coming from but little if any is true. I'm not going to do anything sexual or anything even close to sexual. I met them at a christian camp. I guess i'm not the normal 15 year old but i wouldn't really want to do anything with them either. Oh and sonorous my sister still lives at home. oh you want pictures? i'll try to find some.

Edit: well i found one of the one i'd be staying with. shes the one with the boyfriend. weird picture but its the best i could find.

The Christian camp thing doesn't seem reassuring. A friend of mine is now a youth pastor at a local church, and had gone to camp since he was 5. The 6 years I've known him I have been around for him stealing and doing drugs(once he started the heroin I stopped hanging out with him). Just because someone goes to a Christian camp doesn't mean they are automatically trustworthy and a good person.

From what I gathered from your post, your parents haven't met the girls or their parents, and likewise for them. This is one of the reasons why it wouldn't happen. And just arranging for them to meet when you go over there isn't an option. I'm sure the girls' parents would like to get to know you before they let a strange boy stay at their house.

And as already stated, not wanting a long distance relationship doesn't mean you'll keep your hormones at bay. Who knows, maybe you'll be watching a horror movie in the dark, she'll get scared and cuddle up against you. You'll have your arms around her, she'll look up at you with that look in her eyes, you'll stare directly back into her eyes with that same look...things'll start to get heated up, and the next thing you know you're playing monopoly 'til 3am whilst listening to the Beavis and Butt Head Experience CD. You might even eat some toast, with jam, together. Maybe even have a nice relaxing bath in a tub full of champagne and marshmellows. Oh and there'll probably be sex.

If somehow you get lucky and everyones parents agree to go ahead with this, just make sure to bring a condom and/or condoms.
