I picked up a 115 in the classifieds and it's a keeper for sure! The low end punch in it is phenomenal! Even my husband said, "You're never selling that one."

I hate tweeters, so these cabs look perfect. I'm lusting after the Valkyrie too but haven't figured out how to justify the cost to myself (and then my better half).

I went back and edited my post - the way I said it was confusing. Meant to say these cabs would be great for me BECAUSE they don't have tweeters.
If we had a smaller house I'd be tempted to sell all my amplification gear for a Valkyrie and a pair of those 1x12's. As it is, I like having a three different rigs - basement, den and bedroom.
Our satellite church plant (my only gig) is having a change in venue in the fall. Maybe there will be an excuse to upgrade at that time. Thing is that if they go to silent (or near silent) stage, it might be all I can do to walk in with my little Markbass 1x12 combo minus the extra cab.
Hopefully there won't be any PA. Either way, the Noble DI/Pre should not be an issue. 
While taking a nap before graveyard shift I had a dream that 3 ML112s were delivered to my house. I was stoked, but thought "darn, my amp doesn't go below 4ohm. Oh well, I'll worry about that later." Then I woke up and was disappointed, lol. Just an odd dream to have.

Well, I've always said that one should follow your dreams! As far as the ML212 goes, we are still working on it. While we are working on a new 212 cabinet, we haven't actually decided if this will be a direct replacement for the ML212, or an entirely different cab altogether. The main goals was trying to see if we can get the size, weight and cost down on this cab. We are experimenting with a few various top end configurations to see if we can actually get the "ML sound" without using that dual mid arrangement. Those Faital mids are very expensive and putting two in that cab was the driving factor for why the old cab cost so much. When we get the design locked down and have a final proto and some idea when they will be available, I'll try to post more. It's quite possible this new experiment might just lead to a a new line of cabs, rather than an update of the ML line.
Make a ML 215 with one mid. That way crazy folks can roll with 4 15s.

Looking forward to hearing more about it @R Baer. I loved the ML212 I tried out, one of the best bass sounds I've ever heard. It was above my weight limit (and above other people's price limit).
I just love my ML112 for jazz & big band gigs with my Rob Allen Mouse. The mid driver really helps me play better by hearing intonation clearly - I can close my eyes and play fretless so much easier now. Feedback on acoustic bass is a LOT less too.
We are doing what we can to address these issues on the new cab. The current proto is smaller overall and we are trying to cut the weight by 10lbs, which is not easy to do on a cabinet like this. Sure there are some 212's out there that weigh less than that, but it's just hard to do when there are areas of our design that just ....well, weigh more. With their long excursion and 3" voice coils, our woofers themselves weigh more. Then there's a full two way crossover and the fact that we don't want to build the box from 1/2" lite ply, or use lightweight ply for the baffles like some of our competitors. We could probably save a couple pounds by using a grill cloth, but then what kind of protection is that for your drivers? So, there's a lot of trade offs in the design that have to be made for a super lightweight cab, some of which we just aren't willing to make. So far, I'm really happy with where the design is headed.

I'm glad you aren't selling out in the pursuit of lower weight. A person could get a 2x10 or 2x12 of a somewhat reasonable weight but it won't have the performance of a Baer. If a 212 is too large, I'm sure a customer will do just fine with a single ML112.
It was the dimensions that people didn't like so much. As narrow and talk makes a cab easier to move. If talk enough, wheels are a great option.

Awesome pic. Thanks for posting it! A lot of players on TB really shoot down the mixing of cabs, but in many cases it not only works just fine, but also gives the customer exactly the tone they are looking for. I think the ML112 and ML115 combo works great, as they both have unique voices that seem to blend quite well together.

Also, Roger, what are the pros/cons of making an 8 ohm 2x12 cab vs 4 ohm? A lot of amps are limited to 4 ohm minimum, so it would prevent the use of a ML212 along with another single ML.
I don't know enough about these things to know the advantages of 4 ohm cab. I suppose 8 ohm multi speaker cabs, like the mesa powerhouse, are uncommon.
