I have the PS15 N
P = Powered
S= Single Speaker
15 = Speaker Size
N = Nebula

D12-B - A passive cabinet
D= Double Speaker
12= Speaker Size
B = Birch Cabinet

On other models ..
D = 2 Speakers
X = Usually means there a hi frequency dome on a Speaker within that cab
Q = 4 Speakers within

Just off the top of my head, there was also a B after the speaker size number that indicated the really large cabs (like the S15B-D); likewise there was an L (S15L-D that was in between the S15-D & the S15B-D).

I had a chat with David Booneshaft from Aguilar..he was a gigging NYC bass player and used the Bag End S15 because it was so easy to throw in a cab and get to the gig.
He started Aguilar and developed the Aguilar speaker line..the rest is history

Okay, first thing that came to mind was "surpassing my expectations"! Wow I had no idea how wonderful sounding they are. Very well built, I think this is the most clarity I have had from my rig. I really thought my Genz Benz were true and the do sound great but they are lacking in the upper range. Couldn't be happier and the cabinets are SO cute!

Trivia unrelated to this thread...I used to own Dave Boonshoft's old Sadowsky 5 back in the 90's, which I bought from Jimmy Coppola's old shop. Amazingly lightweight and beautiful. I sold it in a fit of utter ignorance and immaturity. I kick myself whenever I think about letting it go.
