It was good. That Tennessee sour mash is a different animal from the Kentucky bourbon I’m used to.

I love fresh bread. I'll bet that back in the black and white days the prisoners in the jails only had the day old bread. Everybody on the outside had the fresh made bread. I'll bet that the outsiders drank fresh cold water and never once thought about the gift they had been given. The prisoners probaboly had warm water and didnt work for company like this.. Wurm unfiltrated water. Thats a darn bummer man. If you got booked into the clink you would have forbidden your right to bread and water of the fresh and cold variety. Heck I dont do anything bad now and as a result I get macaroni and cheese. Im not complaining because its the best. In todays prisons they eat 5 star generals daily. I wish I ate daily. This is an amazing website. Thank you for letting me creep out here.

... in the old days, they were fed everyday NCOs... with good behavior, one might get a 1st Louie to munch on, but it was rare...

Oatemeal, with dried fruit... OJ (not the inmate)... and based on a good friend's advice, a healthy dose of milled flax seed mixed in with some Greek yogurt...

... and of course, coffee.

I’m gonna make some coffee. It shall be a latte made with Ethiopian beans ground fine, and local whole milk frothed to a steamy, hot cloud.
