Band names that make you shake your head

I think String Cheese Incident is a fine name. It's goofy, but it's meant to be. It's when they're supposed to be serious that I shake my head. Think of Plan 9 from Outer Space, or any movie mocked on MST3K- they weren't meant to be terrible. Someone actually thought they were good enough to release.

I'm definitely not deriding the band - I like them quite a lot.

You know... it occurs to me that pepper and buttholes being in the same vicinity would probably have bad outcomes.

Some time ago, we were messing around with a band name generator.

Some of my favorites were:
Twang Dwarf
Acid Ogre
And my personal favorite, Extra Strength Hobbit

If someone uses one of those names, just make sure to send me a copy of your album.
Those are all brilliant.

One of the ones I saw recently and liked was "Curt Yagi and the People Standing Behind Me."

Seriously these are all hilarious
Car Seat Headrest seems fine to me. There are better names. It's not like it's overly dramatic or inappropriate for their vibe though, it generally works.

There are a lot of band names that we don't think of as being stupid simply because they're household names. Like people have mentioned, those 60s band names seem like they were pumped out of a machine, but we don't think about it since those bands are such a big part of our culture
