Band 'Tinder'

Any band that makes a point to note that they’re “420 friendly” in their ad. This suggests to me that you’re probably more than a little friendly to it and rehearsals will likely devolve into the rest of you getting high while I question why I’m there.

42 friendly would be fine. We'd spend hours quoting HHGttG and probably Python too.

"Our 'rehearsals' are actually 3-4 hour long writing sessions where you will sit there and do NOTHING but you are required to attend even though you can come up with your bass parts in ten minutes flat because our songs are not the least bit complicated but we can never make up our minds on lyrics, melodies or harmonies"

GIRL BYE

(yes, this comes from an actual experience.)

“Please be under 40 years old “ that one bugs me.
C’mon, that’s just reality and human nature. My teen era band would not have wanted someone like Dean Martin singing in it, although years later that sort of thing became hip. Bill Wyman, who was just 26 or so when he joined the Stones, lied about his age for a long time.

I was in a cover band with a couple accountants...

I have nothing against accountants and can easily imagine some accountants who would use a band as a counterpoint to the detailed, cautious, and analytical nature of their day jobs.

Alas, that was not the approach of the accountants whose band I was in.

I was in a band with four financial planners... we never made any money.....

Established cover band with over inflated egos and a horrible name that’s some ridiculous play on words…Swipe Left.

Photo of a band where they use props or “dress the part.” Swipe Left.

Band photo has a dude wearing a cowboy hat and Oakley sunglasses…Swipe Left.

We all have jobs and families, but…Swipe Left.

This is hilarious. Though an eleventy horn band sounds fun. :)
