are they ever going to show up to play? i mean, i want this to end soon so i can get my hair cut, and see two awesome shows next week. but i would really like to have boston win at home.

rockies, pick it up already would you, come on!

Careful what you wish for....:ninja:

edit: look what you went and did. Now the rockies are starting to score. nice going...

:D

just curious ... has a team ever had back-to-back 4-0 sweeps in the WS before? not meaning that the appearances were in consecutive years, but even if there is a year gap between appearances has a team ever had back-to-back 4-0 winning streaks?

it's also interesting just how many WS records the Sox are equaling and/or exceeding this series :hyper:

all the best,

R

Dice-K got a base hit, 2 RBI's!!!!!!! So far 6 runs scored by the Sox in the 3rd inning!

The last Red Sox pitcher to get 2 RBI's in a World Series game was a crafty lefthander named Babe Ruth.

I got a kick out of Terry's comment - he said that Dice-K told him could hit but the look on Francona's face said that he thought it was just the usual pitcher brave talk about their hitting.

I wouldn't mind wrapping it up tonight, but the Rockies showed a lot of heart last night in that comeback - I just don't see the pitching on that team that can really get them back into this.

What is with the towel twirling in Colorado all of a sudden? First I see it with Cleveland, and the fans did it all three games there. Is this just a fad that passed to Colorado? I don't remember seeing nearly as many fans waving a white towel around last night as there is tonight. It seems like a couple of Colorado fans copied the whole thing from the Cleveland fans for game three at Coors field, and now everybody in Colorado is doing it. It just seems kind of lame. Make up your own rallying cry, cheer, whatever.

been doing it all 4 of these games so far. hate them towel waving fruits, same thing with basketball.

anyway, i want to see arod take lugo's place next year at ss.

guess that would make the sox the "evil empire!".

Who's been doing it all 4 games? The first two were in Fenway, and they don't do it there. The first game in Colorado there were only a few doing it, but now it seems that everybody has a towel there tonight for the second game at Coors Field. All three games in Cleveland the fans were doing it. But it just seems like a few fans watched that series and brought their towels with them to Colorado, and for game 4 tonight, the fad just spread like wild fire.

And no, I disagree. I don't want to see ARod in a Red Sox uniform. While I'm not crazy about Lugo, I'd rather he stay instead of ARod taking his spot.
